That Smell Again

Remember this guy?

From the other day?

And how I promised I'd dissect him and show you a Design sheet showing you exactly which punches you need to make him?

I snuck this in the other night when I was supposed to be working on calendars. Ya gotta do that sometimes - sneak around and work on something that's NOT on your list of "Things To Do".

Well, at least I do - I get bored very easily, and if I leave something sitting on my work bench while I'm working on something else, it just keeps talking to me and saying "c'mon - come play with me"...

And I generally break down and do it after a couple of days...

Back to Sir Stinksalot.

Here he is, stand alone

Cute, isn't he?

And here's the Design sheet for making him...

Punches used:

Blossoms Petal Punch 121808 $16.96 (Occasions mini)
Butterfly Extra Large 119848 $16.95
Ornament Extra Large 119847 $16.95
3/4" Circle punch 119873 $10.95
1/2" Circle punch 119869 $5.95
Heart to Heart Extra Large punch 119881 $16.95 (smallest heart only)
any small flower punch (feet)(I used a retired punch that has 3 small flowers on it)

and finally, a White Gel pen.

You'll need to trim the gray piece a little before you layer it on to the black flower punch piece.

And then you'll need to trim both the white flower punch pieces before you adhere to the gray.

The Ornament punch pieces don't need to have the rim on either of them. You'll attach them to each other, one point down (top part), one point up (bottom part).

The black "leaf" pieces are attached to the ornament punch pieces broadest point up - they're the skunk's ears.

The butterfly piece is cut apart and each side is used as skunk's leg/thigh.

And, of course, the circles are his eyes. Add some white gel pen for accents and highlights.

Use the card as your guide. It actually shows Sir Stinky quite well! And if you have any questions, leave me a comment or send me an email!

Have fun! Oh - and if you need any of these punches, give me a holler, or place your own order on my website.
